Looking for used cam 292/509 purple small block hydraulic shaft...have lots of parts to trade or can buy outright...please let me know ...maybe 284/484 also...have a scatter shield, abody 4speed, 340 short block casting72

Howards 716771-08 has the same specs as the 292/508 mopar cam. This can be another alternative if so desired. I run the 292 mopar cam and it runs terrific!

You know those come in two flavors right? One on a 108LSA and the other on a 114. You need a lot of Scr to run those on the street, especially the 114. And the 108 will suck the tank dry in just a few minutes.

The guy I bought my 360 from said this was a purple shaft. I don't see a Mopar part number.

I hear you. My brother had that 484 one back in the day in a stock 318 and it woke it up (69 dodge dart). I just ordered a cam kit through summit racing 480/285. Changing out my mopar 444/276 purple stick (340 cam).

Hold on to it I might need a stock 340 cam if I can't find nothing that's got a good lift to it... I kind of hate I took the cam out of this motor and put it in a 318 couple years back..its a 1968 /340 with headers,X heads, 3.91..and your old intake

It's a good cam but going to hold on to it for now. My buddy might have that cam you are looking for. I'll ask him if he might still have it (509).

Please ask him and see if he has matching lifters in correct order....yeah can't blame you..stock 340 cam is great!! ..I can't afford a roller , kinda on a budget

I've got a cam that measures to .508~ (.338" cam lift). Don't know if it's a Mopar cam or somebody else's. I do have the lifters in order. I pulled it out of a 340 that the guy just wanted to drive. $50 plus shipping from 93711.
