Using Morel solid roller lifters

I am building a magnum 408 with a solid roller cam and Morel solid roller lifters. I received the lifters and noticed there is no hole in the side of the lifter to deliver oil to the pushrod. Has anyone used these lifters and can advise how oil gets up to the rockers?

It sounds like they’re not pushrod oiling compatible.

I’d say a call to Morel is in order.

May be a dumb question, but how did the oil get there when it was stock? It wasn't through the pushrods.

I appears that you have the wrong lifters.

Hopefully you can exchange them.

They are EXPENSIVE!

Yes I've used them, still have them. They're quality and so far have lasted on the street. Needle bearing style like factory stuff.

Now if you're trying to oil the top... you need diff lifters.

Thanks, I reached out to one of the Morel distributors and they gave me the correct part number for the lifter that oils the pushrod.
