Hey Gonzo, My Father was A Submariner Sonar-Tech from 1969-1989. Were you on Boomers or Fast Attacks? From what I remember, he was on the Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, and at SubTraFac Charleston, SC. His name is Bill Palmer.

I was on both. I was on the Washington & took it into the yards. When it left the yards I got transferred to the Tautog as it came into the yards.

Army, 8 years active, Currently in the reserve. 3 1/2 years in Iraq as a 13B (Field Artillery). In the reserve's I reclassed to a 92L (Petroleum Lab Tech). Currently a SSG.

air force 92-96 as a c5 crew chief in dover delaware, then onto westover mass in af reserves for a year, then transferred to army national guard in oneonta ny as a heavy equipment operater until 2000.
 
Navy 1982 - 2002 Typical west coast sailor, all over Pacific, Retired Navy Chief Aircrewman flew EP-3's. Great to see so many vets here!!!
