Want it to handle like a new car!!!

I appreciate the info. Nice Cuda by the way :downtown::sign7::thumblef:

Thank you.

This year, I've made the next step up from the junkyard budget suspension build and have a full Hotchkis TVS system now. More refined and capable of handling my 1.14" T-bars, planned-on sticky 275 wide tires, planned-on aftermarket brakes, and 416 ~425hp motor etc...

Those things I outlined will put you on a path to future upgrades without tossing out a bunch of previously spent money. After that stuff look at Hotchkis rear leafs, subframe connectors, heim jointed adjustable strut rods...

Hey Steve
Which FF steering box are you using and would you do differently if you did it again.
Thanks for your input on this discussion.

I don't have a FF box. I got a deal on a Mopar remanufactured box in 1993 for like $185. Those are long gone now. From what I hear the stage III seems popular with the handling guys.

The budget mild build that I listed above seems to fit what the orginal poster is looking for is not what I did to my car. I had a mis-mash of swap meet scored parts that took years and years to accumulate. And before the current offering of great handling parts were made.

I personally would go for something more aggressive and greater potentional if I had to start today. I did start all over again 6 months ago. And I got the Hotchkis TVS system.

I like my manual steering for performance.
Took a 1 1/8 sway front bar out of a 69 Super Bee and made my own mounts Made huge difference
Replace all ball joints and tie rod ends. Will not feel bad until you get them off
Buy the best idler arm you can find. I have replaced mine 3 times in 30 years
I like Nape premium line. Just as good if not better than Moog and cheaper
I am going to try that sway bar out of a Ford dually. REALLY COOL IDEA!!!
