Need prayers for little Maddie.

Maddie only made 27 weeks old in the womb and is the first child for a friend of ours. Doctors had to take her C-section a couple of weeks ago because of complications with the pregnancy.

As might be expected her lungs aren't quite fully developed and they're having a hard time adjusting the oxygen for her. Last night the call was made by her parents to give her steroids to try to boost her lung function. It's a tough call. Without 'em she might die. With 'em she might die. Talk about the ultimate Catch-22.

The steroids have helped. Yesterday they had her on 50% oxygen and her O2 stats were up to 90. This is compared to just a few days ago when they had her on 100% O2 and her stats were at 60.

Still not out of the woods yet, folks. Not by a long shot. Continued prayers for her and her folks are still needed!
