I was always under impression that if wood was treated, it was best to leave it bare at least for a while. Some guys around here say not to paint treated wood at all...but I know zero about it.

When we had the deck put up, I was told not to treat it for at least 6 months. After that I stained it every couple of years on the top and bottom and it lasted for 15 years and then only a few of the outer boards for the floor were bad when I had it replaced. If you use paint or stain the key is to use a quality product.

Awesome. I think that they are great to have. Looks like it's going to be a nice place when your done. I had heartland siding put on our house when we had it built, it holds up well.

I remember running around the foundation of the house I live in now,back when my parents built it in 1969 when I was 5 years old!
The end of the day. They didn’t quite get everything finished as they’d hoped. Rain all day tomorrow may delay things to Friday or Monday or both
