The world is changing, and I come across tons of files I'd like to share here, but they all seem to be formatted in 'webp' nowadays

Are we playing on making the move to include that in the list of allowed formats for our site ?

Screenshot your desired pictures off the internet, then post up here.

Just like this screenshot >

If you use or can use Firefox, there is a converter you can apply to firefox.

Here it is for chrome

That might work, is it a "set it and forget it" type deal?

I used to be able to just copy and paste from one site to this one

Then i had to start downloading

Now I have to convert and download, i just dont know if its worth the hassle

I often click COPY IMAGE and then paste it on a forum. Once it is pasted, I can sometimes COPY IMAGE and name it. Somehow, the WebP gets converted.

Not sure, as I use Linux, and Firefox, mostly. When I right click an image on the web to save it, a box pops up "save as" and I can pick the destination, and in that box is the option "convert and save." You have to LOOK at the original file name to see the suffix, as the converter doesn't just automatically grab it. So if you miss it you will try and save it as webp. You can set the converter to save as what you want AKA png or jpg etc, and on mine, once set, that works.

The photos loaded in the wrong order. Bottom one, you right click and the "convert" dialog box shows up, you click the "convert" option, and that gives you the top photo, to get to a destination folder. Again this is Linux, Firefox

The image, a cherry tree, is a random one I found on Google for an example

The software icon, in mine, shows up at the top toolbar in Firefox, where you can change settings Pretty simple

On the Android phone and Firefox browser.

You can go to the upper right 3 Dots and click on "Desktop Site".

Makes everything smaller like your seeing an image from your desktop computer.

Right click over imagine and select " Save Image", that will go into your Download file.

Did this with your Avatar ^.

Then return to normal view on your phone and continue on.

Lots of ins and outs with moving these pictures around, play around with it and stumble across your desired results.
