Well I tryed And Failed

69 Dart is what i am working on.I got the lower ball joint into the spindell seamed a little stickey did not want to tighten up to good then heard click.Tighten up fine.Everything is all together now problim is when i turn the drum from one side to the outher the lower arm is twisting a little when tension on the t bar.if there is no tension on the bar it does not twist.What is wrong.I am almost ready to through in the towel.

Snake, You're post is kinda hard to understand, but let me throw this at ya.....

With the torsion bars loaded, it will be harder to turn because of the ball joints being under load. The ball joints are what allow the spindle to turn. Have you greased them yet?

Does it look funny on both sides? Can you post a pic?

Ok guys my buddy that help take it a part to rebuild the front end came by said grease it up that will help,never thought of that,stupid hat on,he also adjusted the cam bolts and that made a big difference.So I carried on.now a new issus the lower ball joints, were the nut goes on on is closer to the spindell than the outher,is this an alinement fix.Thanks for all the help I could use a prayer now.

If I understand your concern correctly, it will change some when the upper control arm is moved while adjusting the caster & camber. As long as nothing is hitting anywhere I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok that just what i wanted to here.Sorry guys if I seam like a whimp but front end work is not my thing,but maybe after all this i am sure the next time will be easyer.next is to install the shoes and bleed the brakes witch will be nothing to it. I have to say its nice how tight everything is now.:cheers:
