you sent a part out and had the correct info on it and messed up the zip code? the zip was supposed to be 028 and i put in 208. same state but different cities. i contacted post office and they are doing an inquiry on it. my p/o clerk said that if the name did not match the address/zip, it should have flagged it. they are doing whatever it is they do when someone has a dumbass attack like i did. i think i have another part, so i will send it to him. this time with all the CORRECT INFO on pkg. what have some of you done?

2 years ago I gave a company my current address with my old zip code once. Realized it 5 days after I placed the order. Calle dthm and let them know my mistake. Post office shipped it back to them 3 weeks later and they then sent it out to my correct zip. We both just had to wait for the system to do its thing on the mismatch address.

I would start by looking up the address it's headed for and see if you can contact them. Maybe you will get lucky and there is no such address.

Truly you don’t need a zip code for mailing. Zip codes are IRS tax jurisdictions. Your package / letter will be delivered as normal. Does a zip help them sort the mail faster, yeah, but still the same not necessary.
