what do you do for a living?

Did you get anywhere? From what I gather from the outside, the people over there seem to be dilusional, uneducated, and downright impossible....

I could be wrong.

I used to do this and also this all over the world, now I drive one of these. You could say I got off the train then pissed on the tracks when it left the station.

I have owned and operated my own tow truck company for the last 25 years. With 8 trucks, 5 employees, I have enough headaches for everybody, but still enjoy every day, to see what people will do next with their vehicles.

LOL
That's what my wife says every time she is asked what she does.

I am an Operations Specialist, with Canadian Tire Corporation’s PartSource Division. They are Canada's largest automotive retailer and auto repair centre.

I have beeen a software Development Analyst, an Operations Analyst and a Store Opening Advisor on the acquisitions team. My greatest strength is as a designer of solutions to optimize operational results.

Those solutions ranged from coaching to utilize existing software capabilities to business process redesign and deployment to business requirement documentation, software enhancement design, testing, deployment and training.

Currently looking for a new opportunity

Retired in March 2008 from Nevada DOT as a Construction Project Manager..

Been working sort of part time for a Consultant Engr Company...basically either be a Construction Inspector or Project Manager as needed...

Currently waiting for a new project to start...but it wont be till after the new year now.

So current status would be RETIRED....

Retired sounds so nice...........

Lots of truck wreck pics here, is it a pretty common occurance??? I never have drove past Seattle, so I don't know, but, they are pretty rare here.

I own a commercial door company. We do Commercial and industrial personnel doors, and toilet (stalls) partitions.

We had great success with about 95% of those we spoke to. It was a matter of building rapport and knowing enough about each individual to be able to ask specific questions.
We also had the 5%ers who, if given the opportunity, would have crawled across the table in the interview room and killed us. They were the really hard core "committed" ones who will have to be either captured and jailed forever, or killed. For them there is no other alternatives, IMHO.

I like your outlook of the situation... My thoughts exactly.

There definetely were some A-Holes on the bus when I first took it over, cuss the previous drivers hadn't lowered the boom on them. It's amazing how everyone gets in line when you park the bus in front of the school doors and look the principal square in the eye and tell him "this bus ain't going anywhere till you enforce the rules." He hauled a couple off that day and called the parents to come get their kids. Grade 8 and 9 boys are the worst, hormones racing and thinking with their third eye. These kids think they're bad ***, they're starting to learn who the bad *** really is. I told one of the tools one day (just me and him) that for $300 I could arrange for him to disappear, used correctly fear is a marvelous thing.8) Our primary job is drive these kids safely and if it turns out to be fun then that's a plus but not a priority.

I am a class A mechanic that has had to get out of the trade due to hand and knee problems ( go figure aye) I am now a high school shop teacher. Most of the kids are great but the government drives ya nuts. (go figure aye) lol
