i have an 8 3/4 rear end with SBP axels should i have them maybe re drilled or would it be cheaper to go ahead and buy a new set?. wheres the cheapest place to buy them? i might just go ahead and use sbp on the rear and BBP on the front.

I went with aftermarket BBP axle's, got mine through mancini racing.Grabbed some drums off a B-body 8 3/4" everthing fit together perfect with no problems .The $ spent was worth it to Me in the ease of bolting everything together and the piece of mind.

i had a set that i redrilled for bbp and let my brther in law use in his duster it was a 73 big block 451 herb mac. motor that ran 6.20 on stock susp. and a 9" slick and trans brake in a glide. 1.30" 60" never a problem, but we replaced the stock type bearing for the green and put good studs init that was about 5yrs ago .....i even know guys that drilled the front drum to put bbp on it but i just didnt do that..
