My wife and I got home on Sunday from a land tour and cruise in Alaska.
It was a great time. We got to see a lot of beautiful scenery, grizzly bears,
wolves, moose, whales, seals and even Mount McKinley.

Enough with the boring stuff. LOL :toothy8:

I also saw this Coronet on a tour in Anchorage. I know it's a B body but it's a
Mopar! I had to get a picture!

Did you see Russia?

Apparently you can from Sarah Palin's front deck.:toothy10::toothy10::toothy10::toothy10:

(Just a joke!!...not meant to start a political "discussion")

Not boring at all norshor....Would love to see some pix of the scenery and wildlife in the "Great White North" 8)

Share if you can.......

Cruises are the :bounce: Glad you both had a great time.

I just did a Seattle, Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Prince Ruppert, Seattle cruise a couple of weeks ago. It was a fantastic experience, the only thing that would have made it better would have been more sun (it was mostly overcast for the whole week).

I would recomend an Alaskan cruise for everyone that likes the great outdoors.

Sarah Palin may turn out to be the worst thing that ever happened to Alaska.
I just don't think our government bought that piece of relestate for the oil and gas under it. I believe it was meant to be a national treasure.
Call me a crazy dictator if you must but I'd chase all the residents off that land and lock the gates.

Glad you enjoyed our great state. Ive been here 37 years and Im not getting chased off from here. If anything we should lock the gate and not let anymore people move here,To many people here all ready. I truly believe everyone should see Alaska and its animals and scenery,,,but just dont stay.

My girlfriend has been hankering to take a trip to Alaska for years. When the money`s right we`ll be going, for now we`ll have to settle for the Discovery Channel. The Mopars are like polar bears up there......endangered species. Good eye norshor!

i hear it time and again from people who have cruised in every ocean on earth, that the inside passage alaska cruise is a "must see". for that matter ANY alaska cruise/land package.

Hey, wish I had known someone from here was coming up, I don't go to work till 4 p.m. and I could have showed you around town a day or two, mopar hidouts that is.
Glad you enjoyed the trip.
Living here is a trip of its own as well. Winters are harsh. But we're still here, for a little while longer.
I know that car also, pretty quick B body.

Ok some of you asked for picture here are a few. I took 604 digital and my wife took16 rolls of film. The pictures don't do it justice you have to see it for yourself! some of the animals were to far to get good pics of. So I only got a few.

Some were taken from a train hence the gray bar at the top and some from a tour bus on the tundra.

Nah it was too rainy and foggy.

Beside she was too busy she didn't invite us to her house but I saw it. LOL

Political discussion tend to make people angry so I don't go there.

Norshor...awesome pix.....Thx for sharing

Favorite is the "rainbow" on the mountain....8)

I want to see that.....on the "bucket list" :toothy10:

Yea. It was totally unexpected and I got several pictures before it disappeared. We didn't see a pot of gold either but I guess the gold was the scenery.

Looks like the world before we`ve had a chance to screw it up. Beautiful!

I will second that longgone, Mother nature at her best.
Thanks for sharing the great pictures norshorblufish.

Blufish: I have fished in that very river not far from that location. I use to work for the Alaska Railrod before i went to the North Slope to work for 15 yrs. I really miss the place and if i were single i would probably return. I remeber the killer fishing. Thanks for the pics.
