Only one I have ever seen for sale, just ran across it.
MOPAR NOS 1970 1971 72 73 COLUMN KEY BUZZER SWITCH CUDA CHALLENGER CHARGER HEMI 29474000088 | eBay
I have one available, PM me if interestedView attachment 1715252426 I broke part of this plastic piece. Does anyone know what it’s called, so I can order a new one? I think it is a button that is pushed whenever you turn the key over. It has two red wires attached to it.
No sir. Buzzer on/off is all it doesSo if I remove the plastic piece and the two red wires, it won't affect anything else in the car? I don't really want to pay for an annoying sound either.
someday you will leave your keys hanging in the ignition and lock the door as you walk away

And in this age of auto-locking doors that habit has saved my butt a couple of times; NEVER trust the electronics.NEVER!
I have an extra set of keys for my car, but I NEVER close the doors or trunk either one without checking to make sure where the keys are.
Just an old habit.

probably something you taught yourself after you locked your keys in your car you to @AJ/FormSNEVER!

roll up windows, push down on lock/unlock plunger on upper door edge and close door, repeat on other side and get back to meWait, I don't think it's possible on my 69 Valiant, unless the window is down, but then it wouldn't be an issue..
That changed at some year model. Earlier doors were key locked. If he has a key warning buzzer he should have hand lockable doors. Someone mentioned 69 model. That wouldn't have same column with key and buzzer.roll up windows, push down on lock/unlock plunger on upper door edge and close door, repeat on other side and get back to me
I figured it was from his 1976 340 Feather DusterThat changed at some year model. Earlier doors were key locked. If he has a key warning buzzer he should have hand lockable doors. Someone mentioned 69 model. That wouldn't have same column with key and buzzer.

I did it ....once (locked keys in car).Actually I don't remember ever locking keys in a car, but maybe it's selective recollection.
I remember others doing it though.
Some people I know have even left a car in drive when they shut the motor off and got out of the car only to have it roll off somewhere, and that's another one I have never done (so far)
My Wife's Sister did this multiple times, and she lived at the top of a big hill and came out to find her car 1/8 mile down the hill, off the road and out in the weeds.
She thought someone was messing with her car and doing it on purpose.
