Thanks! I’ve been planning on painting my 360 AMC blue for a few years now and have been debating between the Seymour’s and Eastwood. I think Eastwood would end up with a stronger, long lasting product (with proper prep of course) but their ONE sample photo on their website looks way too green and terrible.It's been 20-years since I painted that block, but I used Seymour paint. Today they call it Seymour EN-66 Hi-Tech Engine Spray Paint, AMC Blue

I even had that block baked/ tumbled, and then waved a propane torch all over it to burn any residual left out of the cast iron pores. Wiped it all down with acetone.
Probably a little overkill for a mockup block, but I was into the moment.

And I’ll definitely be hitting the engine with a torch to burn any residual oil off. Last time I painted it, I just cleaned it with degreaser and water and the paint didn’t last 2 years.
