Hey guys, well I have refocussed on the Valiant lately and have been working out all the bugs. Now I have moved back to the suspension after beating myself to death with the horrid Air Shocks I put on it. Needless to say they have been removed and while I was under there I installed the rear sway bar so both bars are currently installed now. I wanted to get the rear end put together to the point where Ill be leaving the ride hieght alone.
Well so now its there and Ill be moving up to the front end. Here lies the issue. I have a set of 318 torsion bars to install rather than keeping the original /6 bars that I have been riding on for quite some time. The valiant has a 360 now and is only riding about 1 inch off the bump stops. What sucks is I want to get the front lower than it is now. I understand that whether it has /6 or V8 bars those LCAs are still going to have the same relation to the stops when it comes to ride hieght. While it will gain a more rezilliant front suspension it wont allow me any more room between the bumpstop and the LCA.
So what do I do? I have around an inch now and I want to lower the front atleast that much if not 2". I understand that the bump stop is shaped like it is for a reason and dont want to shave it down sooo? Whats left? As with most people I am working with what I already have and $$$$$$ is definately not flowing toward the car right now! Whatcha got guys?:@:
