What wire should I tie In for the automatic choke Wire?

Where should I tie into for the automatic choke Wire? I read from Holly it should only be on when you turn the key on. I currently have It hooked up to the 12v so it always stays on.

And that is the ONLY place that will do it. There is only ONE switched 12V source into the engine bay....IGN1 or "ignition run"

Look for a white ceramic resistor mounted on the firewall. Probe with a meter with the key on, to see which side is higher voltage. The lower voltage side feeds the coil. Another point you could splice into is the IGN terminal of the voltage regulator. If yours is original it should look like this, and you want the "push on" wire not the screw connection
