How do you tell what year heads you have?? #2843906-9..

they are bare , just tanked blasted and very clean no cracks, worth doing?

There is a Date on every head.They are just like the 906 Cast in the top of the head: i.e. 02149(Feb,14 1969).

They're both about the same worth of head with one being aluminum..

I haven't been able to sell them for years at any price worth messing with them..

so for a stock 440 they will be fine ?? should i bother ?? what do YOU run?

I run 516 heads that I have put 2.14/1.81 SS Valves in,decked,magged,bronze-mag guides,etc.....

For stock 440 street car as long as the seats are good this would be a decent investment.They are Open Chamber heads with 2.08/1.74 valves.
