I am getting no ignition, and the voltage on both the positive and negative side of my coil read around 11.5 volts. What should they be? Zero for the negative side? If so, what would cause mine to be so high?

Also the voltage on both ends of my "IGN FLD" box attached to the firewall show volts around 12v. Should one side read much lower? Any correlation to the coil voltage problem?

Thanks for any and all help.

It almost sounds like either the coil neg. wire is not making continuity back to the ECU, or the ECU is not grounded, or the ECU is bad.

The field lead "could" be normal if the engine is not running/ charging, because the regulator will be sensing "low" and feeding maximum current to the field.
