Found this inside the block of a small block poly when replacing freeze plugs. It was round and has perforations on the one end . It also was a seamed piece. Anyone help solve the mystery?

Wow, you must have really over revved that motor. I've bent the hell out of pushrods before but never had one come out looking like that.
