Magnum or La Valve Train??

LA block and Eddy RPM heads.

You dont need adjustable Rockers on the Magnum Heads. The adjusting nut takes care of it........I will sell you these for a good price if you want them. Brand new Never used!!!!!! These are PEP that I bought from Hughes about 18 months ago. 1.6 Ratio.......These are good QUALITY parts nothing cheap about them.

These will not work for you then........

I am using the Hughes 1.6 Rockers with the Banana Shafts and their hold down kit on my RHS LA HEADS.......the geometry is PERFECT!

Hey Petty, Mike or Wayne should be able to point you in the right direction here. Belive it our not the ones on my little 273 used to be the way to go. Ive seen a lot of 340 solid lifter motors with these (had one once upon a time). I had Comp Cam 110116 rollers in my 383 stroker Cramaro with a giant roller cam. They worked pretty good but that was pussy footing around on the street . It was an 11.6 car, I had to adjust them once all summer. Since you are going to race the snot out of your Dart I would be asking the boys at Active.

Oh I,ll be asking them,I just like to get other opinions also before pulling the drigger$$dollar wise.I still need a deep pan, water pump, fuel pump and carb.Just like to gather pieces while money permits.Happy New Year!

P.S Racing the snot out of my Dart? Not likely.

Comp magnum roller rockers...been running them for 3 seasons on my 416 and 360 with Edelbrock heads,no issues and they've performed just fine...

I meant the 66 Dart

Yes I know you meant the 66 Dart, still I,m spending to much time and money working on it to be running the snot out of it.Sure I,ll run it,but not gonna be running the bajeebles out of it.

All the cool rockers out there, but you can lose a smidge of RPM potential (maybe) and a fraction of a HP, and use the good ol stock like 273 rockers.....

Pettybludart,i am running the Compcams promagnum chromemoly roller rocker arms for the shaftstyle la head's on my 416 stroker 340. they are a very good rocker for the money.

I run my numbers match 340 hard, you can run this bad boy your building hard,LOL.

I run a 416 with eddy heads, 630 solid roller cam, i use Comp magnum roller rockers, and mopar alum hold downs, over 500 passes on this biuld, and 5000 street miles and 600 passes,on a mild 340 with the same set of rockers, i had them for since 1998 and had never had any problems. before that i ran a set of comp cams alum and only lasted one season (shaft area galled up )

I'd use the Isky sintered irons as the base budget arms. $312 (without shafts) from Mancini.

pettybludart..
You state that you are using a roller cam for this build up. Are you using a hydraulic roller or a solid roller, what spring pressures are you using and what is the intended use of the motor. These are some of the questions that need to be answered before you choose a rocker arm.
Generally ductile iron is the less expensive, alumimum is mid range and stainless steel is the most costly.
For most street applications ductile iron is a cost effective choice that will provide excellent service (isky, crane, oem 273)
For very limited street, mostly track, alumimun or low end stainless rockers (comp cams stainless roller rockers, etc). Caution... choose aluminum rocker with care... too much off shore junk out there.
For racing with high spring pressures bronze bushed ductile iron, high end alumimun rockers (Harland Sharp) or high end stainless steel made by Norris or Rocker Arm Specialists are the ticket.

Solid roller cam, about 90% strip use.I,m leaving this now in the hands of my builder.I was just offered some W2 heads with erson valve train for a great deal, but already have my heads, intake and exhaust.
