which fluid????

g'day all,:-D
i have my 66 dart convertible and i need to add sum fluid to its covert roof, works fine going down, but going up its a bit slow ...and fluid seams a little low ......
so wot type of modern day fuild do i use????
i have been told these use transmission fluid ???but wot type????

any advice would be great ....

I've always used Dextron

which dextron?? dextron3, thats the same stuff used in gm cars .....??????, maybe i should flush the system out and just use the dextron???

Dextron is what I used in my 67 Fury vert. Sounds like you may have air in the lines.

I believe my 65 FSM says use Dextron, which was probably just plain Dextron back then. I'd guess you can use the better stuff - Dextron III or whatever it is now - as well.
