The 002/003 springs gave me just the rake I was looking for and ya the pass side is a tick higher than the driver side but it’s fine.. now I just need that SS scoop lol

On my 68 Dart (002/003 springs) I used a set of rear shocks for like a mid 70s 3/4 ton Dodge van. It had the big eyelet top and bottom that I needed and they were long enough. Monroe 66859. Ideal for drag racing? Nope but they’re cheap and suit my needs. I originally bought kyb shocks that Mancini specifies for SS springs but the top eyelet is too small to fit over the upper mount stud..
People have been running nines on SS springs with STOCK hydraulic (non gas charged) shocks for decades. It's all in how good you can set the car up. If the car has the correct springs for what you're doing and is set up right, the rear shocks don't do much more than help the tires stay on the track.

FlamesAreWiched Car looks good! Here is a picture of my Scamp with the Hemi hood scoop. It is sealed right to the air filter when hood is closed. Most people do not know, you need to check the distance on your shock size by jacking your car up with tire on. Let the spring hang down as far as they will go. Now you measure for the shock size from the top shock mount to the axle shock mount. The S/S spring will work right as long as the shocks let them move. I use Competition Engineering. Car Does run 11.30s.
