Who wants a nice Canadian car graveyard?

he's getting ripped by commenters for parking them over grass and letting them waste away. But the latest issue of Hot Rod magazine has a 68 Shelby 500KR convertible, whose owner kept it in a rotting container for over 40 years. The owner and the writer make him out to be a hero for "preserving" the Shelby. It looks like crap, inside and out. I've seen cars, sitting outside for the same period of time in better shape than that 'preserved' Shelby. So who is the bad guy, here?

Unless you can afford to pave an acre or gravel it. The earth acts like a sponge, humidifying the car for decades if not in a dry region. Many a mopar has bent or broke after the sale climbing the trailer. Sounds like the Shelby owner had no common sense.

If I was retired and could work on cars full time I might try it. But reality hits and I am broke and work to live.
