Hey MuuMuu,
Why you lookin' for those Viper calipers???? Do you have a set of those AR Engineering caliper brackets to make that Viper swap work?!?!??

I called them a while back to inquire about those and they werent making them anymore... unless something changed that i didnt hear about???? Im actually planning on doing that swap on my Duster down the line.

Be tagging along with AZMOPAR. Not looking for anything in particular, maybe a few shop manuals

IIRC, Dr Diff took over the product after AR Engineering lost interest in them. Dr Diff just made another run of the brackets 1-2 months ago.

Looking ahead....Looks like sunny skies, with a high of 88. :sunny:

I can't wait! I've been looking forward to it since Spring Fling.

I had wanted to being my Duster, but I'm having issues with the z-Bar. I had modded it after the Doug's Headers install, but maybe I didn't do it right. There doesn't seem to be enough clutch linkage travel going on on and therefore not releasing the clutch all the way.

I had swapped from a 3 speed to a 4 speed and put in a McLeod diaphragm clutch and new throwout bearing all from Brewers.

Anyway... I was wondering if anyone local to Downey is driving up and if you guys wanted to caravan? Or, maybe us locals can plan a meet up at the event?

I'll be heading up sat morn from Garden Grove..will be in my 03 Quad cab Dodge Ram. The new Duster is still a long way away from being done. Will be all over the park checking everything out..

I will be there with the Gorilla...gas mileage be damned!

Steve, hope to run into you! Making the trek up from San Diego, but leaving the convertible at home.

Shane

I plan to drive my '66 Hemi Orange Barracuda down, not putting in the show, will park on the street or the lot across the street, have some things I'd like to sell, but not enough to make it worth getting a swap space.

My score of the Fling...5 matched SBP 5.5 in steel wheels for an early 1969 build car...$170 and my buddy who was selling backhauled them for me to SD!

Seemed a bit on the small side this year on turnout, but there were some great vendors.

Steve, looks like someone got a good score! I think I know who was selling that rare stuff somebody got...wished I would have made it to him sooner!

Sorry I did not run into you, but great show as always!

This excellent A-body Hurst chrome handle with shifter sold for $200 or under. May have came with rods too.

The 67/68 console inland shifter was there late in the day. Don't know if it sold.

Nate Nuttal scored this sure grips for $250 ea and this 150 speedo for like $50

He sold the sure grip out of his wagon before he could unload it and got $150 extra for fix-up-your-mopar money.

And later scored this mini starter for $10

$300 bucks!? Arrrrrggghh!

Incredible and not the half of it.
...NOS GTS hood, two-three more used GTS hoods, 4 NOS rocker moldings, 5-6 NOS 68-up s wheel lips, then some hemi exhaust manifolds. Some low price, some uber low priced... on and on.

There were two 4 foot high mounds of stuff at the seller spot the buyer covered in moving blankets to cover the cache.

Stuff below the buyer didn't take and was for sale for a while, probably went home with them. Some stuff seller had was priced a little high. Some priced ok for end user.

$350 BB k-frames, $300 383 oil pan, But the door handles were $200 ea nos. (too high IMHO) and $50ea chrome B-body door handle bezels. And end of day he did lower everything for 1/2 off.

Here some of the stuff seller still had after the frenzy...
