Who's running 15's ?

-
Weld Pro Stars 15 x 7 w/4.5" b/s

One thing is that when I swapped from sbp to bbp, I converted to 11 x 2" brakes from 10 x 1.75 which required the axles to be a tad longer for the larger brakes/drums. This set the tire perfectly centered between the lip n spring.

Sorry, just the rears, but these are 245/60/15's, bout a little over a finger clearance to the spring n wheel lip.

Looks good, and fills the wheel wells out nice.
Was thinking maybe a 225/60-15 front and a 235/60-15 rear. Or 235 front and 245 rear.
Decisions,Decisions.
Thank you Mark.

Here is the axle offset difference going from 10 x 1.75 to 11 x 2" brakes. These are Moser axles.

i have 245 60 15 on my 64 barracuda, on stock steel 15 x7. if you can find some wheels with more back spacing and bring your tires just to the springs you can cram some pretty decent tires under there.

good stuff!

I just got a set of 15x7 4.25 BS steel wheels and old school dog dish caps to get me by till I get the 17's

Thought this thread was dead, but not so !

Thank you guys for taking the time to post pics !

255/60-15 on 15x8 rims with 4.5" of back spacing. 4" or 4.25" of back spacing would have moved the wheel out some and made a little more for bigger tires. A buddy of mine has 275/60 on cop car wheels on his 67 Barracuda but IMHO that size tire is starting to look out of place on the car.

Both front and rear 255/60X 15? (the front looks a bit narrower- maybe just the angle of the pic) Where do you get these wheels with this back spacing? This is what I want on my 69 notch!

Running 255/60R15 on rear and 205/70R15 up front (a bit of a taller tire up front creates less rolling mass, which means its easier for the rear end to push the car forward) all four rims are 15x7.On a all stock suspension. I tried 275/60r15 on the rear before but the just rubbed the leafs and left me with under a 1/4 inch on the wheel well.

Thanks for those who posted pics.

Ended up going 235/60-15 all around on stock 15" x 7" steel wheels.
