Awhile back I picked up a 1940 ply coupe.Had not been driven in a while only started every week.Icheck all the fluids they were ok .The car was only 11 miles from my house.It started right up ran good.Stuck it in low headed for the house watching the gauges and lisining.2 mile from home lost a rod bearing,the oil line from the oil filter canister to the engine block was dry rotted . It let go after the engine warmed up.Did not lose oil pressure till it was to late.Now it has a 360 6 pack 904 trailer you'car till you can go through it
