Why does my new Barracuda pop and miss?

Once you get the rest of the paint buffed out it ought to really 'pop'. I'll bet the previous owner already "misses' it.

No kidding. I have dropped valves in a SB and lots of carnange. But not a broken rocker shaft. I have even turned 383's over 8k with stock rocker gear and never had a shaft break. That's just nuts. Almost seems like it hydrauliced.

No the push rod wasn't bent.I am thinking someone left the shaft loose on the one end.
