Gawd I miss that ol' girl
If nobody remembers the "dust trails" (whatever they were called) were reflectorized and went around the rear of the trunk lid as well. After "the girls" a-holed it in National City the dust trails and birds went away

Del, ur 1 of the lucky ones to of had a 70 Road Runner. I always wanted one. They are my favorite Mopar of all time. Kim

We all have one or two of these.
I knew the car in the commercial wasn't your original one because yours was a hardtop and that one in the ad was a post/coupe as well as the vinyl top.
The '70 Road Runners look awesome in that Lime light color.
My brother had a Super Bird in the early '80s that was Tor Red but it was originally Lemon Twist.
That was a great car with the 440 4bbl and console automatic!
