i love to go out and eat in places but when you sit down and someone beside you get ready to go why in the hell do you have to blow your f------ nose out here where im trying to eat...i can not stand that **** it is just so nasty you f------ dummy...then some have the never to go to the bath room after they do it...maybe i should just stand up and walk by and pass gas (fart) and see how they like that oh but whit thats nasty ..man people just dont think..sorry rant over i had it happen to me today not 1 but 2 times in the same place even after i said nasty *** when the 1s person did it, waste of my time saying something i guess...again sorry mike:angry7:

Why do people do a lot of things?

Years ago, a couple in a booth behind me were discussing some sort of scientific research having to do with ?? afterbirth?? I finally SAID something, and it wasn't very polite, either

KIDS the parents let run loose in a restaurant, and the parents think it's cute when they come up to your table and bother you. "Your mother's calling, if you have one."

How about common courtesy? Some time ago, some guy went into a hardware store, and carelessly let the door slam into an elderly woman, who I guess thought "the big man" was actually going to hold the door. It knocked the old gal sideways pretty good, and she winced. He of course was oblivious

I went inside, went up to the turd, and told him a few things---quietly--and then walked off. Later, he came up to me in the store and says "don't say one word or I'm gonna hit ya." Then goes into a rant about his dead brother. The clerk came over and defused the situation, but to this day the worthless clerk thinks I started it.

LOL, I used to really enjoy a well known Japanese steak house/ sushi joint.
But I swear.............every time I went there, the old lady hostess was always blowing her nose while seating the guests. It finally grossed me out enough that I quit eating there just because of her. We share that pet peeve!

People do what you have described and MANY MANY more and far worse things for a myriad of reasons....the most prominent of which is they had pathetic parents. Very rarely do you see children of the 30's 40's or 50's acting thusly because back then Parents were PARENTS! They had no intention or desire to be a "friend" to their children or to go out drinking with "the kids" and in 46-7 when the original Dr. Spock released his book it was primarily used, and very well thank you, as a paddle!! Nice 1 inch thick hard bound copy made for a nice quick "*** stinger!" and children by & large learned that there were consequences for misbehaving!!! OMG I am so brutal!!! my Parents were medieval torture mongers.... CRAPOLA!!! you did wrong you got whacked! In school you did wrong the priests whacked you, or the Nuns whacked you....either way YOU EVENTUALLY GOT THE IDEA that "SOME THINGS were out of bounds for you" and that IF you selected to violate those boundries.....SOMETHING THAT YOU DID NOT LIKE WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!
EVERYONE I KNEW was taught if you have to pass gas or blow your nose or YOU want to PICK your nose or whatever ( didnt matter ) YOU EXCUSED YOURSELF and went to the lavatory and closed the door and did your business... IN PRIVATE!!!! You were taught to cover your mouth when you sneezed or coughed..... and if you did not get the lesson right away there were CONSEQUENCES and mostly they were unpleasant!
Point is, you learned and responded pretty much weather you liked it or not and it typically was a hallmark for "good breading"
NOW children are "reasoned with" ( regardless that the current age of reason is like 30)
NOW children have "TIME OUT" which means they get to go to their toy and electronics filled rooms and waste time watching their own personal TV or video game or computer until they get bored and return to the fold without permission.
NOW children are allowed to do and say whatever they please WITHOUT consequences
NOW parents want to be their children's BUDDY or PAL
NOW parents are afraid to smack a completely off the hook misbehaver kid for FEAR that THEY will be "reported" or sued by the child!!!!
NOW the Children run the household...and if you dont believe me...check out that Toyota commercial...where the KID says ""Just because you're a parent, doesn't mean you have to be lame." and he is talking about HIS influence in what kind of a car the family should have and what level of luxury it should be according to HIM!!!!
FOR MY MONEY TOYOTA should be politely asked to leave the US simply for allowing that commercial to be broadcast!!!!
CAN ANY ONE of you guys over 40 see yourself calling your Dad "LAME" because of the brand & level of car he drove???? AND can you imagine the consequences that would have IMMEDIATELY ENSUED??? ....
To me the proof is in the pudding!!!! treating a child liberally has devastating results!! allowing them to run AMOK affects not only the immediate family but society as a whole negatively! AND so for our OH SO LIBERAL UNDERSTANDING DIVERSITY BASED CHILD REARING EFFORTS AND PRACTICES ...we are NOW graced with a country filled with nose picking, nose blowing, open mouth coughing, open sneezing, farting in public, defecating in public, urinating in public, fowl mouthed, disrespectful, know nothing , do nothing, Lazy uninspired, ingrate "VIDIOTS " who think they will someday become famous by playing guitar hero or by winning "world of warcraft".... and that kind sir, is why , you and the rest of us around you that do NOT conduct ourselves like that, must be subject to such heathen activity!!!
THIS IS WHAT COMES FROM TRYING TO REASON WITH A 5 YEAR OLD..... for my money the actions of my Parents and other parents from Mine and the surrounding generations, their solutions WORKED far better in producing a higher standard higher caliber set of individuals!!!! MAYBE they HAD SOMETHING THERE? MAYBE THIS BULLSHIT TIME OUT CRAP does not work so good?

Amen. I was raised good (I'm 59) my son raised good, my daughter in law raised good. So my grandkids are being raised good. No coming home and saying"well so and so did it"
That's why I hate to go to movies( haven't since 1994) I can't watch the movie. I do know country restaurants by my house, that people control their kids, and still actually take a crying baby outside, until it settles down.
