I need to move my 2002 Ram van and it currently doesn't have the wiring harness in it. Hoping I won't have to pull the driveshaft.

Pretty sure it will... the parking pawl is probably the same as a 727, turn the key to release the interlock and shift it into any gear to push it. Unfortunately, you can't tow it with the driveshaft attached.

How far and at what speed do you need to move it?
There is an acceptable distance with the driveshaft installed.

I believe the trans is basically in neutral when there is no electrical power to it.

Still mechanical like a 727. If you have to disconnect the linkage at the trans and take it out of park at the trans.

Yes trans will go to neutral with shifter in neutral.
trans is the same as a 727 .
electrical is only up shift timing controll.

Thanks guys.

I tried moving it earlier today in neutral with my tractor. Didn't want to move.

Been sitting for a while so must have a brake not turning loose.

Didn't want to push it too hard without making sure that is what was happening.
