Got a 71 and 72 Scamp with window problems. The door glass has a 1/2 inch gap at the top when the door is closed. They move in and out when the door is open.
Neither of the windows will go up or down without help and a lot of cussing. The passenger side frame(sides) move with the window.
Are these riveted or bolted in place? Anybody got a pic of what the window hardware should look like so I'll know if I'm missing parts. Can I get a complete hardware set?

Quarter glass don't work either. Must be a common problem ,right?

Anything in the doors is repairable and not so bad to work on.
The quarter glasses are a different animal , from a different planet !
The two most important things I can share from experience are,
check or service the door hindges first.
Cover the sharp edges around those holes in the inner door that you'll be working through. Duct tape serves well for this.

hinges are good. doors close tight and easily. the windows move around inside the opening. i can pull the passenger side window up, frame and all, without moving the crank.
