Have a 74 duster the wiring harness under the hood is corroded and not in good shape all the way to the bulkhead box, what is everybody using for a under the hood Wireharness for this 440 engine swap? I would like to make this as easy as possible if it is.

IMHO.... if you want easy as possible DONT go with Painfull (AKA Painless) or NOT EZ (aka EZ). Get a V8 oem style engine harness for your year car and adapt as needed for Dist , Oil and Temp sender locations

If you’re not doing a stock rebuild, don’t waste your time with the stock wire harness. Use an American Autowire harness, which eliminates the stock bulkhead connector and change your ammeter out for a voltmeter. And you can easily add additional circuits if you need them. The factory bulkhead connector and the charge system being set up around the ammeter are significant drawbacks to the OE design.

I ran my ‘74 Duster for years with the OE harness, switched it to an AA harness a couple years back and have never been happier. Need a key switched circuit for a radio? Already there. Need one for a fuel pump and want to add an additional safety switch on it? Already designated in the fuse block. Can’t easily find glass fuses anymore? Uses improved modern fuses. Hell you can get fuses with a built in LED indicator that shows when they’re blown.

Yes, they’re expensive. But better in every way than the OE harnesses.

I would have Evans make me a stock type harness for your '74 with a 440. Guessing that you are not a wiring guy , only because you are asking. M&H might make you one also, phone call to either one will answer questions.
