I am going to route all my wiring through that black plastic corrugated tubing. Hopefully it will clean up the engine bay area a little. I was wondering how this stuff holds up to engine heat if I run my alt. wire and water temp line through it and let it lay on the intake.
Has anybody ever done this?

Jack

I've run it across the top of the intake without problems, the stuff will melt if it gets on the exhaust but you don't have that much heat on the intake normally.

Hope you keepin' warm up there Jack, we're getting our first clipper of the season, calling for a WC of -10 for tonight. That's cold d d d down here!

GT - I think we're sharing the same storm, Jack is probably laughing at us thinking we don't have anything compared to him!!!

reference the wiring, had good luck with the stuff and they make it in several different sizes, as long as you steer clear of the exhaust you're fine.

I'm sure Jack has to deal with the cold more than we do, oh well...The wire "stuff" comes in a lot of different colors also.

Thanks guys!

I wouldn't call it laughing, it is much more like a grimace and teeth chattering. Saturday morning it was about -15F and the wind was howling. It took 4 hours to warm the garage up. But it was well worth it as the car is all set to go to the body shop now.

Hey Jack, I use that corrugated plastic tubing with no problems.
