Based off the 340 I’m guessing but they played with stroke a lot. I’m guessing he’s a big Part of the development of the W2 head. Pretty interesting stuff in old books about what they did to heads.

Thanks for the info. It seems to me that NHRA set the cubic inchlimit at 355, and I know the 340 went away after the 73? model year. Seemed a bit underhanded to me at the time since Chevy had the 350 and Ford running the 351,but the MOPAR camps had the 360. I'm just old (70) but I've always loved drag racing. It should be open to every manufacturer instead of making it basically a competition between mostly Chevys, and a couple of Fords. It usually end up a Chevy drag meet.
