Yup. You can probably barely see it on the dipstick. Is that okay with a stock oil pan?

You need to be careful depending on which bolt you have. One of them is weak and will twist easily. I caint ever remember which one.the FSM lists 50, the napa gasket kit lists 40
pick your poison
the one with the three holes? the one with the slot? or the one with the sideways smirk? You need to be careful depending on which bolt you have. One of them is weak and will twist easily. I caint ever remember which one.
Ok cool! I was unaware of the slotted one. The one that's weak has the holes aligned.I think there's 3 different ones. The one with the slot is strong followed by the 4 hole offset drilled one. The 3 hole one twists easily. View attachment 1716494814View attachment 1716494816
Not really. I believe you will get pressure faster if the filter is positioned so it stays full when the engine is shut off.Would the current angle of my filter adaptor affect my oil pressure by chance?
My current dip stick reads high and I thinking its because it was never changed when switching to passenger car pan. What would be the correct dipstick for the passenger car pan?
A body stock, use the adapter, just make sure you have it set at the right angle. depending on your set up. I need to use the short filter because I installed it with the motor out of the car and a longer filter will hit the frame barely. Allow for the engine torque, on the rotation. I use WIX filters on all my motors, including air filters.i've always run the 51068 with either the 90* adapter and manifolds or tti headers no adapter.. fit both well for me.
