I got the bushings from our sister store, Star Chrysler in Queens Village. Senior partsman Ronnis has been there since the musclecar days. Talks about how crappy the Hemi cars were "back in the day..." and so on. I told him the story from last night about having to buy 9 bushings for $30. We had a good laugh and then he sold me the 3 bushings for $7.... Putting the bastards in was another story. But it all works now.

I also had the old Dart out for a cruise to Nassau County on Long Island. Maybe a 55 mile round trip. She rode GOOD! Even my Wife commenting on how good it ran. I even had it up to 85 at one point. It still needs gas shocks as the ones in there now are ****.

And so it goes....poly front end...custom steering wheel....the dog dishes.....now I'm installing a CD stereo system w/ satelite. My Wife see's another long-term project car sneaking up on us.

I'm tellin ya, everywhere I go people look at it and just smile. I had it out over a friends house last night and the neighbors were all checking it out! And it's not THAT pretty!

Yep Dusters are they same way they owned or know sombody that owned one.
Apparently alot of them were built with 440 Hemi's!
