Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

-
they(deposition printed 3d priner , NOT a resin printer) don't hold up well unless UV coated or fully painted, I've done a few parts for my car and 3 years using and in the sun kills parts (yes UV coated also, but I could have coated them better). Now resin printed and they look and last better since you CAN build in the UV resistence in the resin. best thing to do is resin print, perfect it then cast a mold on the pefrfected 3d resin printed part and cast it usong 2 part pourable resins with built in UV materials. I'm doing my 1966 tail light outer chrome bezels that way, the 4-6 Barracuda rear window skinny pieces and the latch covers but vacuumforming the rear bigger pieces for a few items I"m current working on. (dovc gave me the okay to do more then blink at my shop. I'm allowed to lift 10 pounds now so most of my little work can get done I want to do an A/C radio delete for my 66 dart later on this year I have the A/C part and a broken radio delete that I can graft into one piece hopefully seamlessly
I’ve got the 66 dart and a 65 Cuda so any parts you make I may be interested in.

I am searching for some unobtanium molding clips which shouldn't be too hard to print. I would like to start out with a good part to copy though which I will look for soon. If 4-6 parts could be grouped on a tree like model car parts, that would be a smart way to go instead of printing one at a time. I bet some software can set that up.

Huh? I don’t think you were the guy that was trying to build those.
I bought a cardboard one for my 64 Polara. If the original one lasted 61 years, the replacement should last as long. I'll be 131 years old when it needs replaced again.

I tried to do a glove compartment, but it was too big for my printer.

So I grabbed some political yard sign, cut it up, and folded it into something that fit.

Whatever happened to the guy doing the glove boxes? I'd buy one of those.
that would be me, I can make them, but they have webbing in 2 corners , I'm not real happy with the way they came out and am going a different way with those (they will be cast as a plastic part) same with my 66 tail light bezels I'm working on a left outer bezel now and it looks doable for the other 3 also,

thre is another guy douing a 2 piece 3d pront one but I"ve tried it and the printing sites and it;s just "not right"

design one . array it and put in cutting holding tabs and it's done, I do that for some small parts I need 10 or 12 of, but then I mold em and cast them for better durability. doing some 63 lincoln door pulls now for a customer

A separate 3d printing forum is being discussed.
If anyone has suggestions of what topics should be allowed. Post them here. Or private message me.

I do know selling won't be allowed that would have to go in the sales forums.
Requests for parts to be made and comments from those making them, an exchange of ideas, pictures of what you can or have made......
