I found a 71 dart swinger for sale for 2600. Here is the status its a roller needs put back together. It's has no rust never cut on. It has been completely sanded in three stages and now in epoxy primer ready for paint. It is a 318 car and has original motor that will need gone through and trans. Has no rust on floors either. Has decent original white interior. Will need dash pad of course. Its an ac car power brakes and steering. Bad is 7 1/4 rear but it has new springs and air shocks . Owner used to have body shop and he sanded it all down and primered in epoxy. It is as straight as you can get it. All panels line up nice no big gaps. This is a rare find all original metal . Interior is original and white and in driver condition. What do you think . I think it's a good buy

When you say put back together...is the interior in? Is it simply put engine, tranny and paint?? I realize panels are in place, but if it needs interior, engine, tranny, wiring etc, sounds like a lot of work. Is it column shift or console? I would love something like that. No welding or body work needed that is a bonus. Show some pics, sounds like a fun project!

It has headliner in it and it's nice . The dash and all that are in car. The car needs the carpet put back in . The front seat a a bad spot on drivers side were the back of knees would be. Back seat is good they just need reinstalled. Bumpers would need put on but in driver condition. I will post picks I'm supposed to by tomorrow just wanted some input if I was doing ok

From what I said earlier, sounds like fun! Means a lot when no weldin or cuttin is needed! Try for $2k, still a lot of work ahead of you, but fun work beats shitty work!!LOL

He won't come down . I'm sure he put s lot of man hours into car. He is a pastor and a Mopar man so he's pretty cool and very honest. People sell rollers on her all the time that need a lot of body work metal and putty. Add that up and and your well over 3k. Mine is original sheet metal . That's impressive I call it a survirvor

No offense, but survivor means different things to different people. Sounds like yer mind is made up so go get it and post some pics!

Sounds like the only thing left, body wise, is to paint her. As long as all the suspension, front and rear, fuel tank, drive line, interior, bumpers and trim come with the car that's a good price.

2600 for a roller is not a good deal by any measure
if it is as straight and clean as you describe, I would not call it a bad deal either
if you like the car, and you want to build it to keep and drive, it sounds like a fair price
if you plan to fix it up, paint it and try to sell it, walk away

No I wanna keep make it a street strip car. It dies come with everything to assemble .

rmchrger has a beautiful 71 for sale.
its ready to drive. great color.mint condition.
sounds like he wants to sell??

im too old for project cars.

It sounds to me like it is worth it. You'll save a lot of money on a paint job by having all the prep work done.

are you sure the body is as clean as he says it was? what would bother me is fresh primer. you never know what someone did under it.
