I just realized your close to building AJ's idea of optimal 318, stock cam, 2 bbl, duals, decent cr, gears. just short best tune and a stall. If you added a full tune run before you shut the project down we could easily estimate what a stall would do and see if your anywhere near your original 318 hop up.

I'm confused if this is for me. Don't take much these days.. lol

Yes it's towards you :) just saying your build is fairly close to what AJ recommends to every 318 guy, just short a full tune and a stall.

ok, i guess I'm not aware of AJ's 318 recommendation LOL
If I do this, it will be a 4bbl, not AJ's 2bbl you say.. :)

Find the schematics on the Mexican version 318 - 270 horsepower now that's a horse of a different color
I would love to see that recipe!! I am in process of buying a Mexican dart with the 270hp 318. I have heard they used 340 heads, intake, and cam, along with a 4 bbl. And deleted accessories more max. HP?

Have to be a mid 15 car. My car basically stock went a best of 16.16. Stock 318, electronic ignition, dual exhaust, 2.76 gears 2 barrel. AC. We never checked (threw it out during the rebuild) but think it MAY have had an RV cam. Slap a 4bbl and at least 3.23s, depending on pistons and head combo, we know you can tune, etc, and you’re keeping your exhaust, I don’t see why you can’t hit mid 15s.
