Wife's Winter car... AWD

Lessee, I doubt I have pics, but the wife has a '18 journey, I drive a '17 ram 2500 and the boy (15) has her 'old' '15 pursuit charger

Sadly my Honda had a higher percentage of USA and Canada made parts than the comparable Big 3 had. And was assembly was done in Canada by union workers if that's ya thing too.

And where is Honda based???..CHINA..only 2 car makers BASED in AMERICA are Ford and G.M. :usflag: :usflag: :usflag: :usflag: ..only 2 car brands allowed in my driveway!!!

My in-laws still have a 1997 Ford F-250 4x4 - 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel that they use as a “farm truck”... they are also extremely satisfied with it - they are absolute Ford fans.

Totally agree ONLY truck I'd ever own is a FORD:usflag::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I guess I have a Dodge truck thing. Currently still own all of these. My kids have claimed the 89 and the 03. And now the 2010 barely gets used. But when ya need it ya need it!

My daily driver is a 2013 Kia Soul, not too exciting but at least it has a stick shift. Wife's car is a 2013 VW Passat TDI, which now has me swearing off buying any more German cars built after 1990.

Kias are decent cars.. only problem a ex had in like 15 years of them was a coil went bad, was like a $25 fix

Yep, I got this one with 140,000 miles on it and have put nearly 40,000 more on it. About all it's needed beyond maintenance has been a crank position sensor, a rubber coupler in the power steering unit, and a recall that was supposed to make it harder to steal. I also had the fake leather shift knob peel and I 3d printed a replacement. Well, I also had to replace a door lock after someone tried stealing it and found it wasn't as easy as it looked on TikTok.

This is my first one.... of course after i buy it i find they have a ton of weird little issues that shouldn't be happening but the dealer fixes (like a windshield seal leak that screams at 70+.. haven't been the fast in mine yet)

They been dependable? And i wish i could go to Japan.. my brother went there for work once and said it's his favorite place he ever went to.
Each of mine have over 200k on them, the winter one is about 270. They've been great, but you can't get quality distributors for them anymore. So once you have to replace the factory one with one from China, as is the case with my winter beater, you have to keep an eye it.

Parts in general are getting harder to come by, as Nissan only made the first-gen from '00-'04. And they get 16 mpg no matter what. But I once had a '73 Cadillac that only got 8, so...

I loved my time there, 2012-2019. Have been back to see friends. So far, Japan and Scotland are my two favorite places I've been outside of the U.S.

My two cars were a 71 Cuda, and a 71 Hemi GTX, 4 speed car.
They were DAILY drivers and not trailer queens.
When the Cuda sold it had over 300,000 thousand miles on it, and the GTX had over 200,000 miles.
And those cars are still going, although i don't think the current owner of the Hemi takes it out of the collection much, and the Cuda has fallen off the face of the earth, not knowing where that one may be, in this day and age.

Here’s my two non-classic drivers.
‘06 Mega Cab Cummins

And an ‘04 PT Cruiser GT that I bought just for the engine (turbo 2.4, same as an SRT-4) for $400. Got it running and decided I may as well drive it and have fun with it til I’m ready to pull the engine. 2 sets of wheel spacers, Jeep wheels and tires and since this picture was taken, I added a 2” lift in the rear. I think I’ve got $1300 in the car.

2019 mercedes S560 coupe.

I can't wait to get a mopar daily driver again. I used to daily a 68 dart but then it got rear ended and I sold it but a duster is in the works. I have plenty of cars to make a daily driver, just no time
