Your Daily Driver / Other Cars ?

-
Two more or less daily drivers - or as close as I get these days to driving anything daily.

First, my 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab, Cummins/48RE. Bought new in December of 03, only has 130,000 miles on it because I don't drive it as much since I retired 20 years ago. Stock except for a Smarty Jr. set on 100 hp and a FASS lift pump.

Second, my wife's 2012 Mercedes E350 that we bought off lease in December of 2014 with 15,000 miles. Now has 55,000 miles.

This naturally aspirated 3.5 liter motor has 12:1 compression ratio, just over 300 hp, and will get over 30 mpg on a trip.

What’s the car behind the Lexus

Can you share the awesome dusters rear rally specs? 15x8 or 15x7's? Backspace? Thanks
Front - 225/60-15 on 15x7 (4.5 bs). Slight fender lip roll and maxed out the fender brace. Rear - 255/60-15 on 15x8 (4.5 bs). I use a small spacer in the rear (3/8" iirc) and I have a 8.25 with stock spring location. They may fit without spacers on an 8.75. The 8.25 is a touch more narrow (see here)

My daily beater.. 2020 Camaro LT1 6spd.. the stripped down SS if you will. 6.2 and a TR6060 transmission with dumbed down features.. it doesn’t even have a rear spoiler. It’s not too hard on gas either.. regularly get 24-25mpg on my work commute.

Well, blew the engine out of the truck but luckily my mechanic gave me a loaner, so right now I'm running a late 90s early 2000s Corolla

2014 charger r/t and 1958 Apache. Try to drive both as much as possible. Daily commute for the most part is a kia soul (work provided so I cant complain)

Hey man, i had to live in my car for a while too. Things will bounce back for you! Just keep fighting!

Hahahaa

But on the real side, I did live in my car back in 2000, in a 1989 Nissan Sentra. It happened because I was commuting 7 hours per day, twice a week through New York City to go to college. So instead of all the driving, I got a rental room from a fellow student. So I packed up my car to the ceiling with belongings and drove the seven hours the new house. I knock on the door, the guy opened the door and said he rented the room to someone else.... I was sooo pissed... But in the end, I ended up living the rest of the semester in my car...

I'm not a Chevy guy, but that is one good looking Chevy truck.
Thanks, My dad had a few as i grew up and this was the last. It was a family project that my brother did all the paint and body work on. I am the caretaker for it now. It has held up surprisingly well considering it was painted back in 2000. That pic I took a couple months ago

My “good” one.

I’ll probably retire the silver one next year and get a newer one. Been driving minivans exclusively for 26 years and will have one until they take my car keys away. They have more utility than any other vehicle, relatively inexpensive and low cost maintenance and operation.
