I'm sure the Duster will be lighter. the big block is what really hurts the Dart. I can't confirm, but always have read and heard that a Mopar RB engine is almost 200 lbs heavier than a LA small block.

My old bracket car is a 67 Belvedere. it has only a single plastic race seat, 6-point cage, no carpet, a iron head 440, 727, 8 3/4, weld drag lites, aluminum intake and radiator, 5 gallon fuel cell, and 27-10.5-15 street radials. it weighs 3350 without me in it. all steel with a glass 67 Super Stock hood scoop.

72 Dart Full steel body, full interior, cage, frame connectors, aluminum wheels, fuel cell car weighs 2980 with out me. Small block aluminum heads and intake. My brothers 72 duster iron headed small block weighs almost the same. 1 pound difference, we couldn't believe it.

how did you get that Nova hood to fit your Dart that well? LOL

National record holder chassis God J. Caughlin can do anything.
The only thing I wish I would have done is have it go to the window.
This under car scoop do's work.LOL
