Poor guy. I would be pissed if it happened to me. No penetration on the welds. I used these link brackets for my housing. These brackets, bars and welds won't break.

I seen this happen earlier this summer.The car was a 65 comet with 4 link setup.The guy lost his rear after the 1/8th...very dangerous.The guy made it out O.K,but the car didn,t.I felt bad for the guy,he was literally in tears after taking 20 years to restore the car.He said he had the rear installed by a friend.:violent1:
