    Clutch vs. Electric Fan

For my .02, I was running a clutch fan on a new Moroso water pump. My new pump's bearing pushed out at 5000 rpm's. Destroyed my very new rad and fan. Needless to say I went back to electric with my new rad.

Hello gents. I have a set of the tall aluminum valve covers like you see on ebay. Mine are Procomp (SBM) and cleared my Mopar Performance hold downs. I switched to the elite tall myself. They sealed well. Its a ***** getting the long bolts to start. Mine are the satin finish. No dents with both...

Sounds like the primary throttle plates are not set correctly. Take the carb off and set visually. I think thats what POS Dakota refers to in his post.

    Rear Shock Lower Mounting Studs

Thanks for the thoughts !! If anyone is interested, the studs are welded at the face side of the shock. I cut the stud close to the plate on the shock side then ground down the face till flat. Then I drilled the locating pin out to the proper size and mounted the new stud. The studs were from...

    360 small block info

Hello All !! My 360 is, I believe, a 1970 model. When I removed the heads j code and ran the numbers, they came back as a 1970. My dilema is all the sites I have searched dont list a 360 in passenger cars till 1971. I assume that means my motor is a truck motor. No problem, but I am hoping...
