Kind of redneck, but I took a short piece of heater hose off of the water pump and capped it with a mag wheel lug nut and hose clamps. Did the same at the intake fitting.

In the past I cut a short piece of heater hose and put it on the water pump fitting and then capped the other end with a unilug lug nut for a 1/2 stud, did the same with the intake fitting.

Do they make one piece electric water pumps for Chrysler now. I have never really shopped for one but it seems like looking through catalogs all that I ever saw listed was the kit that uses a stock water pump with a toothed gear and a small electric motor.

I would unhook the control cables at the heater box, remove the glove box(don't remember how many screws, after all the screws are out it kind of folds in half then slides out)then just reach in and unhook the cables from the box.

Aren't there 2 different sizes depending on the year? I have in the past used a pipe nipple with the corect thread, a galvanized piece that is threaded the whole length, thinking it was about 1.5 or 2" long, available at any hardware store, probably not correct but it worked.

Anybody have any tips or tricks for prepping the radiator for paint, the rad shop did a half #@@ job (IMO). And there is still some paint of the tanks, and the mounts, while in other spots on the mounts the paint is bubbled and comes right off with a brass brush. Thanks
