Just curious what would happen if I ran solid lifters with a hydraulic cam. Have a collapsed lifter in my car now, it has a 292/509 mopar purple shaft with adjustable rockers. Would be alot easier to set the lash with solid lifters.

Going to run at the local 1/8 mile track this year. Not sure what gear to run, but I came across a 6.14 gear, would this work or be too low. I'm running a 360 with a 292/509 mopar cam, ported 587 heads, and a 4-speed. Let me know what you think.

What happens if you run the stock axle bearings, with a spool. I know you are supposed to change to the green bearings, but what actually happens. I have a gear I was wanting to try but its on a spool and don't want to change the bearings if I don't end up liking the gear. Thanks Rick

Was just wondering what kind of PRM people are turning on stock 360 rods. Have heard that they will take 7000 rpm all day, and have had other people tell me they won't take much more than 6000 rpm.
