Ken[/QUOTE Well there not perfect . i had a hard time with the fitment of the after market full panel if i had it to do over i would only get quarter skins so keep that in mind when doing yours and this is my first build ever so practice alot on defrent size metal befor you start i would go as far as useing up a complete roll of wire in your welder on practice befor starting welders and the heat they make is not forgiveing to body panels and can damage the panel fast .so good luck on your build and keep me updated

thanks...please keep me updated....I'm sure w/ some hopefully minor modification they will work fine......I'm think gonna take a swing at the TTis..1 3/4 tubers...probably have to tweek the clutch crosshaft on that install too.....

seriously....good luck on the build
Mopar to ya'

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and ordered a quarter skin from Summit racing this morning so hopefully it will be here soon. One of my buddies from work donated a door that was laying around his yard, so I am going to cut the skin off it and try to weld it back on the door for practice. I will definitely keep you posted!

love watching your build moparisbest! i am curious how easy was it to install the floor? i will be doing the same thing some time, so any advise you can give would help:) thank you

looks like you need to order a door stretcher......or maybe re-adjust your door towards the rear with the door hinges...the hinges are adjustable ya' know...not only up and down ....but front to back

Looking good! ..I've been quietly following your progress for a while now, your doing some great work. I ordered a gallon of Herculiner a while ago and was planning on putting it on my floors like you did. Did you add the rubber bits to the herculiner, how easily did it go on? Keep up the pace and keep up the good work; thanks for the advise.

Had to relocate the side ball mount up and closer to firewall stiffend the mounting location with 1/8 inch steel plate built my own bellhousing ball mount useing two old mounts had to grind off the bottom part of the zbarr all the way up to the stud that hooks to the rod that pushes the fork the fork had to be shortend 1 1/2 inch the rod that comes from the peddel had to be stetched 1 inch so cut it in half and added the extra metal from old peice had laying around still have to do a little tweaking on the peddel rod to get it out of bind but looking good i do have clutch action and it pops back up to ware it needs to be and seems to release ok

Moved and bent the arms on the Z-bar?
did have to bend the z bar a little but not much really wished it would have been that easy lol but it wasnt bad at all just kinda telling people to never thank it was just a bend here bend there and its done more to it than that so guess what im saying is going automatic would be lots easier and with stock bellhousing might be defrent but im using lakewood scatter sheild so if your trying this it can be done from the looks of thangs under the car slave cylinder i dont thank would be possible maybe hydrolic throw out bearing would work

I dont have anymore pics to show but wanted to tell you all that im still working on the car i went threw the wireing sunday took me about 6 hours but was able to tie up all the loose ends and eleminate alot of wires because im running the msd ignition i didnt need any of the engine wireing and the car will not have heat so only wires i left in the harness was for all the lights and wipers im going for the super clean look so there will be no wireing showing im trying to hide it in the fender well for head lights and the dizzy coil temp gage and alternator wires will be ran in braided hose next to the oil pan i will get some more pics of progress im hopeing to fire the car sometime in july so will have more video on youtube of first fire in the car wish me luck hope i dont have any crazy leaks are heating problyms i have some bad news tho i had to sale my 71 charger to get more parts for the duster and im really sad over that i had the car for over 8 years and it never ever failed me but on a good note the guy i sold it to has the money and time to do the super bee clone i allways wanted thanks to the 383 4 speed duster i had my new love for mopar has gone all a body and because i sold my 71 driver i had to get the 75 dart swinger going it is a neat little car and it has become my new mr. reliable lol i had to rebuild the carb and new master cylinder and fix a leak in the rad but it beats the charger in gas milage by far lol i drove it to work and back home three days and it only used 1/8 of a tank were the charger would have used 1/2 tank i also talked to a good mopar friend of mine and he was sad that i had to sale the charger so he told me when i get all caught up he will sale me his 73 charger rally car that has the 440 in it so i will have me anouther long nose charger in the future anyway just wanted to up date my page because i love coming here and reading about others and really like all the nice people here so take it easy and mopar to ya !
