Ken[/QUOTE Well there not perfect . i had a hard time with the fitment of the after market full panel if i had it to do over i would only get quarter skins so keep that in mind when doing yours and this is my first build ever so practice alot on defrent size metal befor you start i would go as far as useing up a complete roll of wire in your welder on practice befor starting welders and the heat they make is not forgiveing to body panels and can damage the panel fast .so good luck on your build and keep me updated
thanks papbrother nice work

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and ordered a quarter skin from Summit racing this morning so hopefully it will be here soon. One of my buddies from work donated a door that was laying around his yard, so I am going to cut the skin off it and try to weld it back on the door for practice. I will definitely keep you posted!
lol door stretcher well i will order it when you bring me that bucket of steam you promised me and yes i know there adjustablelooks like you need to order a door stretcher......or maybe re-adjust your door towards the rear with the door hinges...the hinges are adjustable ya' know...not only up and down ....but front to back
I didnt add anythang to it at all i did spray it on and it turned out really nice i have rolled it on befor on a truck i had but spraying it is the way to goLooking good! ..I've been quietly following your progress for a while now, your doing some great work. I ordered a gallon of Herculiner a while ago and was planning on putting it on my floors like you did. Did you add the rubber bits to the herculiner, how easily did it go on? Keep up the pace and keep up the good work; thanks for the advise.
Had to relocate the side ball mount up and closer to firewall stiffend the mounting location with 1/8 inch steel plate built my own bellhousing ball mount useing two old mounts had to grind off the bottom part of the zbarr all the way up to the stud that hooks to the rod that pushes the fork the fork had to be shortend 1 1/2 inch the rod that comes from the peddel had to be stetched 1 inch so cut it in half and added the extra metal from old peice had laying around still have to do a little tweaking on the peddel rod to get it out of bind but looking good i do have clutch action and it pops back up to ware it needs to be and seems to release okwhat exactly did you do to make the z-bar work?.....if you want to share that is
did have to bend the z bar a little but not much really wished it would have been that easy lol but it wasnt bad at all just kinda telling people to never thank it was just a bend here bend there and its done more to it than that so guess what im saying is going automatic would be lots easier and with stock bellhousing might be defrent but im using lakewood scatter sheild so if your trying this it can be done from the looks of thangs under the car slave cylinder i dont thank would be possible maybe hydrolic throw out bearing would workMoved and bent the arms on the Z-bar?
Thank's bill 340 fast backWay cool build. Keep up the good work!
