Need help choosing an engine!!!

I chose 340, because you only gave 3 options and I made the assumption that your intended application was an early A body. Is that true and do you have access to all 3 engines?
 
find yourself a 360 roller block (late 80s-early 90s, pre mag motors) and have at it.
 
put a 383 or 440 in. i have a 440 in my dart and a 383 in my duster.both are good engines.they are both late 60's engines.
 
A 340 would be great but I vote for a 408 stroker.
 
I used a 360 with a scat stroker kit. Now have 414 cu. in. and it really rocks. Easy to work on and has all the power you need to play on the street. Works perfect in my 68 Dart.
 
340, I'm very happy with my 340, got over 4,000 miles now since I fried it up 13 months ago. Seems tight as when new and I beat on it. Bet it last me over 100,000 miles. Its lighter weight then the BBM, for a Duster its the perfect motor

I had a 426 Wedge Ramcharger Stage III engine back in the 1970's. It was a lot of fun to drive and race. It also rated high on the "cool factor" when guys would request a peek under the hood.

A cross-ram 426 Hemi was the ultimate cool factor for factory induction.

I never had a 440 but we had three 440-6 pack cars in a mopar club that were a blast to ride in.

I will be putting together a 340 for my Duster. I have a choice of induction for it: stock, LD340, and LD 340-6 pack.

So I vote for the 426 Wedge if it will have a cross ram, if not, then the 440 if it will have a 6 pack, if not, then the 340.
 
Well... Bigger is almost always better when it comes to engines, but what's the plan for the car's use?

For Sunday cruising i'd choose a nice, lazy big-block... For epic burnouts/traffic-light racing you'd go the cross-ram hemi and for fitting big brakes and trick suspension and hassling motorcycles on mountain roads you'd want a 9,000rpm small block...
 
Depends on your intended use ...and of course pocketbook! Different "strokes' for different folks. Mine happens to be a '67 Formula S with the rebuilt/upgraded 383-4 cruiser/woody trip at times.
 
Go with a Stroked Small Block and put the Cross Ram (STR-12) on it that you are trying to sell...
