I always thought the bend in the door bar was suppose to bend out towards the door not down. I thought it was there to make room for the driver. Hmm intresting!:happy1:

Maybe it is .I did not go by any books are rules . I only installed the roll cage the way I wanted it plenty of room with my seats in the car .if you notice I also ran the rear bars threw the dutchmans panel so I can still have a back seat this car will be mostly show . If I take it to a track and it don't pass so be it .Any way they closed are track last year to build a park .but back to the original question I don't thank I could have the bend outward it would interfere with the door shutting

I know where a set is but I didn't see if they were cracked or not

I still have two extra sets one set with no cracks and one set that has small web like cracks that would be fine for a driver

Well i went threw a time warp today and found my self back to the day i got the floor in the duster rino lined . Well maybe not so much of a time warp lol just took every thing back off of the car so i can finish up the metal work and get the trunk rino lined and going to paint the door jams and the inside of the car and roll cage body color it will all be B5 when done

Wow that is major room there. Have you got a old tire in the size you want to see if it's wide enough?

Well I can say that car is going to be badass. I'm not too knowledgeable about tires.

any help ?
Hi Joe,your making great progress with your car.I have a tip for you on tire selection...If you go to Summit,s site and go to tire selection, when you pick a tire click on the application reference. This will tell you what size rims to use with that size tire, but most importantly check the BULDGE size(Example:28x11x15 might buldge to 12.8 inches when full of air)I just thought I,d give a tip before buying wrong size tires.Good luck and keep at it.:D
