Will the cam and lifters fron a 92 318 directly fit my 69 block? Also, am i free to use any cylinder head with them? Thanks

the cam will work but the lifters will not...the oem 92 318 blocks have a build in tread in the valve to mount the spider which hold the dog bones down..which keep the lifters in place...
the older blocks like your does not have this treads that allows this to happen.....you need to find the retro fit hydraulic roller lifters or find a newer 318 block...318 got roller lifter somewhere around 1985....
in the photo you can see where the 3 bolts are in the lifter valley on the newer blocks...
Are the lifter galleis cast the same so that the old block could be drilled and tapped? Who makes the retro fit lifters? Thanks
